With great enthusiasm, ELSA Verona is proud to announce the ELSA Webinars Academy – Mastering ADR in the International Arena, focusing on negotiation, mediation, and arbitration in both the public and private sectors.
This educational experience offers a comprehensive dive into Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, helping students and young professionals expand their expertise in international legal practice.
Academic Programme
The academic programme—conducted entirely online and in English—will take place November 8th, November 14th, November 19th, November 26th, and November 29th 2024, from 17:00 to 19:00 CET.
Each session will address a different aspect of ADR, with a focus on engaging participants through discussions and practical examples on:
- Introduction to negotiation
- Mediation techniques in international dispute resolution
- Negotiation, mediation and arbitration between States
- Navigating commercial arbitration in cross-borders disputes
- Investment arbitration: balancing state interests and investor rights
