Salento is the most southeastern peninsular extension of the Apulia (Puglia) region, directly on the Mediterranean Sea. It is sometimes described as the “heel” of the Italian “boot”.
It encompasses the entire administrative area of the province of Lecce, a large part of the province of Brindisi and part of Taranto.
The peninsula is also known as “Terra d’Otranto” and in ancient times it was called in many different way: Messapia, Calabria, and Salentina.

The V Key Area Meeting – KAM Salento 2015, is the biggest international meeting for all Academic Activities´, Seminars and Conferences´ and Student Trainee Exchange Programme´s active members! KAM Salento 2015 will feature a keynote presentation by ELSA International, ELSA Italy and many partners and sponsors followed by round table networking sessions, workshops, seminars and discussions for students, young professionals and alumni.
